“But really, the term “forgive and forget” doesn’t make sense to me. Forgiving does allow us to stop dwelling on an issue, which isn’t always healthy. But if we forget, we don’t learn from our mistakes. And that can be deadly.”

Meg Cabot

Review:
Since I'm studying to become an English and History teacher in Secondary Schools, I love anything related to history. Ancient Greek Myths are especially interesting to me. (That's one of the reasons I enjoy reading the Percy Jackson series!) This novel made me think of The myth of Hades and Persephone. (It was purposely written like that.) That's the reason I enjoyed reading this novel as much as I did.

I was going to give this book 3.5 stars, but the ending actually surprised me, which is why I give it 4 (possibly 4.25) stars.

It was certainly a pleasant read. Sometimes it did feel like it was dragging though, hence the decrease of a star.

I'd recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys reading a light romance novel with a hint of darkness to it.

Rating: 4/5
