Review:

When I read the first novel (A Court of Thorns and Roses) of this series, I was truly worried about the second book. “How could anything ever top this?” was my question. Reading A Court of Mist and Fury I must say that the story has gotten 20 times more interesting. How? That’s a question I ask myself as well.

There a quite a few things that made me fall hopelessly in love with this novel, however I must say that one thing was exceptional throughout the entirety of the book. The character development was truly incomparable. I have yet to read another novel wherein a character grew as much as within the characters in this story. I’ll restrain from mentioning the name of the character I’m specifically thinking about due to spoilers, however I can say that everything you knew will change drastically.

Sarah J. Maas knew how to weave the story so remarkably well, that at one time I stopped reading only to acknowledge how magnificent this writer actually is. Things I haven’t expected hit me right in the face and I genuinely cannot wait to read the last installment of this trilogy.
