Summary on Goodreads:
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

Review:

“Sometimes in order to save a relationship, you have to sacrifice it first.”

Started reading this yesterday. Couldn’t stop until I fell asleep. The second I opened my eyes I started reading again. Didn’t stop until the last page was read. That’s not even the best part. I have an important final tomorrow. Yes, instead of studying to ensure I have good grades and can become a teacher, I read until my eyes started to hurt.

Now? Now I’m devastated. I love Owen and Auburn so much that I want more of them, but now it’s over and I don’t know what to do with my life. Every aspect of this novel was MAGNIFICENT! The idea behind this book... genius! The paintings made the experience so much more compelling. I caught myself staring at them for several minutes.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a little romance in their lives. (Don't worry, it's not overdone.)

(This was the first book I read on my new ereader and I'm pleasantly surprised at how advantageous this device is! Definitely when it comes to traveling.)
