Review:
This book is dangerous.

It's dangerous because it unlocked a secret passage in my heart I didn't even dare to open myself. It hit me with a stream of emotions which my heart couldn't deal with. How can a stranger know me this well? How is it possible that a complete stranger knows me better than I know myself? The impact her words had on my soul was immeasurable.

Seldom does a book affect me this much, a hurricane of emotions was aimed straight at my heart. Now I am left with jumbled thoughts. Trying to make sense of my feelings. I can’t.

Love, anger, hate, misery, hurt. All at once.

This is the first poetry book I’ve read. I used to read a great deal of poems a few years ago. I am appalled at how heartened I am by these sentences.  I can assure you that I will be reading poetry more often from now on. I’ve excessively been listening to classical music recently. (Tip: listen to the playlist “Peaceful piano” on Spotify while reading this.) I believe that listening to this music while reading the poems only heightened the reading experience for me.

One of my favorite quotes from the book is:
Wandering star
“She walks the earth freely, yet her feet never touch the ground. Many hands will reach for her, but she cannot be anchored. She belongs to no one, to nothing, to nowhere? When meet her, you will recognize her for who she is - a free spirit, a wandering star. She will fit in your arms like she was made to be there. And she will show you what it means to hold something you can never hold on to.”
